What motivates a man to be a gynecologist?

It’s a bit weird isn’t it?
Don’t get me wrong, I’m at home in the Entertainment District but I know my reasons for being there. Of all the things a male medical student could choose to study, what makes him go for that, and if the answer’s as obvious as some of you are going to say it is, doesn’t that make him a bit weird?

Not far from the truth.
My father-in-law was an O&G Consultant.
One Christmas, a female relative gave him a porn mag as a bit of a gag. A couple of days later he was sitting with his Senior Reg, going through it picture by picture, with both of them commenting very seriously on the various potential ailments/conditions displayed before them.
He also used to tell us in detail about various operations he had performed that he was reminded of whenever he was carving a joint of meat.
It was quite useful, I became completely immune to gross after a while...

Soldo, my nephew's first job when he left school was as a grave digger they then promoted him to an embalmer. Drives petrol tankers now, dangerous job that, I suppose he's seen so much death it doesn't faze him.

I can see that it's a legitimate field of medicine and that they want to help people.
I find it more bizarre that some people choose to analyse stool samples for a living.

My Sister (no 1) best friend is an Embalmer.... won national awards and all sorts... prepared my Nan's body a few years back when she passed away ... she absolutely loves her job.... not for everyone that...

I once asked a friend why he'd chosen this profession. He described it as being a plumber for women.
